Herring snack platter

Hear me, hear me.... Herring! Ever since I went to the Carribean a few months ago... I loved herring (Dutch style). It was so fresh and intense... I still remember the taste.

They sold herring at IKEA. There were two flavours, INGLAD SILL and DILL SILL.  I got a jar of INGLAD SILL.  I'm impressed with the texture and the freshness of the fish.. but I was weirded about the sugary taste from the clear marinate.  Apparently, INGLAD SILL relates to Ketchup flavoured... Damn, should have stuck with DILL SILL.  It was still very good with bread and small side of veggies!

 

To be honest, I love anything herring... Herringbone Plait... Herring... shall I go on?
