Mussels with black bean sauce.

I'm not sure if I should make it a habit to bombard my readers now that I've gotten more attention. But hereee goes nothing!

Easy Chinese dish. There's something awesome about black bean sauce... Such a savory and garlicky mixture. Mmm. I added some homemade chili oil (I'll probably post that later). Spicy is good!

Mussel bisque.

For this recipe, I used the leftover sauce from the other night... The broth was amazing. Pan fried some bacon Did a light boil... And added milk because I didn't have cream. Thickened it with flour. Seasoned with herb and lemon. Probably not the exact way to make a bisque but shiz tasted great. Whatevers.

Tuna sandwich with garden salad and tomato soup

Personally, I'm not a big fan of bread... but it's such a staple in some dishes.  Here we have another quick lunch with everything you need and usually have on hand.  I added some lemon and herb into the tomato soup for a more intense flavour.  I love green onions so I pretty much top everything with green onions to give it colour.  For the tuna salad... just mayo, celery, and pepper with a hint of lemon juice.  Cheers!

Pan-fried pork chops with Chinese greens.

Lazy afternoon, something quick.

Pho of goodness.

Woke up shabby today and of course, late.  This post was for yesterday, also late.  This post right now is pretty late or early.

I've been re-organizing all my pictures, music... files so I know exactly what I'm uploading and providing for you guys!  I have to keep this one short and continue my organization tomorrow.

This was my lunch and dinner... (Roommate is gone so I get double! Yeee..)
Faux Pho (I didn't have all the ingredients and time to keep it real.)
Paired with an onion salad, a very refreshing side while sipping on some hot soup.  I had this salad on my second date with my love... and I fell in love.. with the salad!  <3

(To be honest, I'm not sure how authentic this Vietnamese meal is... sorry if I offended anyone!)

Midnight snack... Prosciutto, mozzarella, some tomatoes topped with goat cheese drizzled with a balsamic vinaigrette, grapes & olives, shall we?  (I wouldn't mind a glass of wine... damn...)

Shame

I don't think the post should be called guilt anymore.  I'm over that stage.  Quite shameful of myself.. but everything is finally official.  New life, new beginnings.  Last post was March and since then I've been dead to this blog and maybe it was exactly what I needed.  I owe you one for still surviving.  Thank you.

A little update...

Little me moved to the big city, Toronto!  The Canadian version of New York City for those Americans (I reach out to you).  The city life, glam, art, fashion... food... everything I love.   Oh, and my lovely super accomplished man, DRAKE is also from this city... the air here is amazing, I swear to you.

So now that I've apologized for my absence.  I'm ready to offer you a better read from now on... OXO.
